For December (my final 2014 Craftolution project!), I made this chunky brown cowl. It is made with Michael’s Loops and Threads yarn (Charisma), and is ridiculously soft and warm.
November can be gray and drab, so I wanted to add a pop of color. I combined a black cashmere-blend yarn with pink boucle to add a little brightness and softness to an otherwise dreary month:
When I put the colors together, they reminded me of the ocean at sunset: blues, greens, purples. It just seemed right to use a chevron pattern. February’s scarp yarn project:

First creation in my Craftolution Project! I call this the Picket-Fences Scarf because it reminds me of the old picket fence we used to have around our yard in Massachusetts. It is made with worsted weight yarn.
