Summer Totes

Another great summer crochet project:

025 (683x1024)

Tote bags.

Last summer I made some drawstring bags using Loops and Threads ombre yarn from Michael’s. This summer I wanted to make something a bit more classic, and something that reminded me of summer in New England.

I opted for a rectangular handled cotton tote: easy to open, deep enough to hold things but shallow enough to find everything. I made four with different cotton yarns from the Bernat Handicrafter Nautical and Ombre collection, Lily Sugar N’ Cream super sized and , and the a set of Purse-n-alize It! wooden handles.
